If referring local friends to ibotta gets me a one-time bonus in the short term but long-term frustration since now we'll ALL be competing for the same limited stocks of ibotta offers on the same store scantily stocked shelves....I'm trying to calculate my gain. The way I figure, it's more akin to "Shooting myself in the foot."
