I found the TiVo Stream 4K streaming device for $15 at Walmart. This was originally priced at $49.99, and currently can be found at other stores from $30- $40. I first saw the Walmart clearance price on Brickseek a couple of weeks ago but couldn’t find it in stores. Today, there were several on the shelf. I bought one although I already have a Roku device that still works great. But the problem is that Roku has been having problems with content providers recently. Google has already removed YouTube TV from Roku devices, and will probably remove the normal YouTube app soon. Amazon is threatening to remove Prime Video from Roku as well. Roku also lost the Spectrum TV app for several months before it was reinstated. Unfortunately, streaming TV is having the same issues that cable TV has with content providers wanting more money. So for $15, I’ll try something different. It’s gotten some good reviews in the past. These also might make good Christmas gifts for my Roku using friends.
