walmart charges a bag fee and it is usually 20 to 30 times more than they use on delivery orders!! That's fraud!!

It sounds like another reason to shop in store, which I do.  I did the pickup thing a couple of times, but when they had me wait 45 minutes after my scheduled time to get my groceries, without advanced warning, I decided it was just easier to go into the store.  Then when I did get my pickup order, several items were "not in stock", but I found them in the store.  The associates don't spend a lot of time looking when they are not where they should be.

My Walmart does not charge for plastic bags,   But I do return the plastic bags on my next trip.  My store has a big container at each entrance.  These are bailed up like the cardboard and sold to a recycler.  It might not be a lot of money, but they do get something.  And the bags do get recycled.

You’re 2 cents is wrong. I live in a state that has no ban on plastic bags. Walmart in my state has just started charging a fee. Therefor it was Walmarts choice to charge a bag fee. The state, city nor country laws had anything to do with it. If that were the case then it would be the same ring when it comes to fast food restaurants and all the plastic they hand out their drive thru windows every day.
no store has to charge a bag fee, they can put the items in the vehicle without bags, it’s that simple. What is Walmart going to do reuse the plastic bags they use to carry items to your vehicle. Plus we didn’t ask the store to start using the plastic bags in the first place and we didn’t make the plastic bags.

Walmart became a zero waste company. Meaning no more plastic bags. This is the reason people are seeing a bag fee. It has nothing the do with the state city or country ban on plastic. Although some states do ban plastic. I happen to live in a state with no such ban and the Walmart here that I use hasn’t started charging a bag fee. So this is Walmart that has decided to charge a bag fee and nothing to do with the state, in states with no plastic ban anyways. This information is easy to find. Just google it.  Thank you!

This just now popped up on my pending invoice..... It WAS NOT there when I placed the order last night, and at this time, has no fee listed. Just a **bleep** question mark... As if they don't know what they're going to try **bleep** scraping the bottom for, just yet... Riiighhhht.

And of course, they finally get an order to the right location (no joke I've gotten upwards of five ENTIRE grocery deliveries of SOMEONE ELSE).Like comparing a name in huge block letters on the bags to the name/address is rocket science or something. There's been orders that just never even arrive, with pictures of my **bleep** sitting on grass with nothing else visible, likely stolen by the driver... Always something. I can't wrap my head around what is SO **bleep** DIFFICULT ABOUT THIS. OTHER COMPANIES DO IT SUCCESSFULLY REGULARLY, WHAT TF IS WM PROBLEM?????

So you joined this forum just today and the first two of your comments have been censored for language. If you're that irritated about Walmart's bag fee, then why don't you share that with them?
