I’m with all of you that are super bummed!! Went to make a small purchase at Lowes (home improvement not grocery) over the weekend and first realized this increase. Not gonna lie-changed my mood for the rest of the day. ☹️☹️ I, too, used the lower increments to make up my bonuses when I was close, and I always kept a balance in my IBOTTA earnings for just this reason. Even these small wins are going away. Getting harder to keep head above water. This helped. Sucky.

It was super helpful when needed a few extra rebates to hit a bonus BUT I saw many people abuse it buying like 30-40 $5 just to hit a bonus.  I don't think that is what it was intended for and I personally think the abuse is why they changed it.
