I have an Android and I have the changes as well. Don't much care for them. Before submitting my receipts I always quickly check the Any Item category just in case a new one popped up and now I don't have the ability to just click easily on that tab. ☹️

I have the new filter on my android, and it seems to require a learning curve. After i get used to it i will probably appreciate it. Meanwhile, Hubby's android is a bit older.  His app still has the tabs.

My mom's iphone (6S) got the update today.  Not a fan at all.  I was trying to put together a WM list so she could do her bonuses.  I selected a few (dairy, pantry, beverages) and everything was just jumbled together.   Had to go back and filter each category by itself.  I like the categories at the top and you can click or skip as you scroll over them.  Need to see what's in snacks, boom there, or I can scroll back to dairy and boom, done.  Too much back and forth with the filter.  And if you hit the <- button on the top left instead of the filter button on the top right, you have to start all over by clicking the store again.

I updated my iPhone 6s and iPad this morning to app version 6.117.0 and the tabs still appear as normal.

@Dean  That's the version of Ibotta my mom has, and it just has the filter button.   I'm on Android, and my app still has the tabs.  I'm on version 6.116.1. Now, today, I was scrolling down her "just for you" offers and noticed 'what's hot', etc categories are all still there.  But instead of scrolling left and right at the top to see the categories, you scroll forever down. Which is why I think the filter tab is there, so you can jump to dairy or household, etc.  It'll take some time to get used to it, if this is they way they're changing it.

That really sounds like the experience of shopping through the Ibotta.com website. If you haven’t tried it, logon and see if it matches what you see in the app. It sounds like the web version is somehow showing in the app.

@Dean  Bingo!  Just the same.  I hadn't logged onto the website in a while, but it's really nice and streamlined now!

Just to add some transparency on this update, only a fraction of savers will be seeing this, and that's because it's a test. I don't have any additional info on it at the moment, but that's why some might see it, and some won't.

They could have saved a lot of time and money by doing a poll here and on the FB page.  Results would have been 90% thought it was a stupid idea and a step backwards.
