Well it is a preferred navigation tool for some other major apps, and it's only a percentage, and new savers tend to experience things differently than experienced ones like yourselves.
@LaraL will there be an opportunity for us to give feed back later on the test? I would love to go back to the way it was, lol. this filter may work for some apps, but it makes ibotta harder to use, and I’ve been gravitating to using shopkick a lot more now as a result of the change.
I've been sharing a lot of the feedback around this update already. I believe they're still weighing the feedback against usage testing.
I still am waiting to see anyone who has used the regular selection process prefer the new filter process.
This seems to be a step back. This is one of the things that ibotta had done well. While there are many other sites that use similar stupid filtering, people complain about them on all sites. Nobody wants to select a filter, go thru everything, then go back, then select a new filter, go thru them all, etc.
All projects I worked on, when this was desired, we at least had a select all option, or allowed the selection of multiple category filters before hitting enter to apply the filter.
Again, can some please weigh in explaining why this new filtering process is preferred and easier/quicker to use than the regular filter process.
