I am well aware of google and several other search engines. It is not my intention to generate traffic for Google. But to promote a dialogue between the new and seasoned Ibotta users.  Unlike some users I do not know all things about Ibotta and thought it would be fun to learn the lingo.

My post career after the military was the railroad and OOP automatic reply in outlook messenger was the only way to keep higher echelon from calling your phone when on vacation.

Great wealth of knowledge Thanks!  Before I became tech savvy LOL was really a foreign language and hated texting my nieces and nephews I never knew what they where talking about so to get even I changed my texting font to cursive writing and used complete words.

IBOTTA GLOSSARY

B1G1 = buy one, get one.

B2G1 = Buy two, get one.

B2G2 = Buy two, get two.

BOGO = Buy one, get one. Will usually end with “free” or “half off” meaning buy one, get one half off; or buy one, get one free.

BYBE = liquor rebate app

Cats = Catalina coupons that print out at the register after purchasing certain items.

CO51 = Checkout51

CO = CoinOut

CRT = cash register tape (or coupons printed on your receipt at CVS or at the red box)

DNE = Does Not Exists

DQ = digital coupon (that you send to your store card)

EB = extra bonus

ECB = again CVS. Extra care bucks.

FAO = Free after offer

GC = gift card

IBOTTA = I’ve been out tracking tasty aisles!

LOL = I think we all know that one

MM = Money Maker

MWMM = Midweek Money Maker (I think)

OOP = out of pocket. 

OOS = out of stock

OYNO = off your next order

PITA = pain in the A==

RL = real life 

RR = register rewards (Walgreens)

SB = SWAGBUCKS

SK = SHOPKICK

SMH = shaking my head (in disbelief)

Thanks so much for taking the time to compile the list. 

EB - can mean Extra bonus (when you qualify for an additional Ibotta bonus)

or EB - Extra BUCKS (at CVS that print out when you hit a threshold and you can use on your next purchase)
