Colleen is my name shown on the ibotta app.  I cannot figure out how to add team members not using Facebook.  I have searched quite a lot & would like to have more team members, or join other teams.  Can a person be on more than one team?

@CC2014 unfortunately, for the time being, there is no other way to add teammates that are existing savers.

Hi, I would love to be on a team with you.  I have 2 family members on mine & don’t remember how I added them unless it was via fb.  I’m wondering if I can have a separate fb account to use for ibotta.  I’ve made approx. $500.00 slow and steady in between work contracts.

I thought joining a team would help achieve the 2nd/3rd, etc. Teamwork bonus, it doesn’t make sense to me that each individual has to redeem another 40 offers and the whole team must redeem a total of $20 worth? wouldn’t the entire team already be at $20 if just one person redeemed 40 offers? 🤷‍😑

Hi Rcb1583, I agree with you (as it’s called a “team”).  My team doesn’t really participate much, so I haven’t been able to get anywhere near that.  I am working on getting my Mom’s account set up 100% because ibotta is taking ?3.99 from her account periodically due to inactivity.  So, I was able to get her login set up again (since Thanksgiving, just 2 days ago), now that I have time.  I still need to link some of the automatic stores like Hannaford (for her), for example, then set up PayPal - probably to my account because I don’t like to use debit cards.  I just do this for fun/as a challenge between contracts, but the auto ones are easier.  I got a message yesterday from iBotta stating that the only way to add team members is by connecting to fb - no other way.  I don’t want to use fb for it, unless I’m able to use a different fb account, but then my original account would be messed up.  LOL.  It is a lot of work for a small reward, IMHO…I could be doing so many more productive things, but it’s kind of a fun little challenge.  I wonder if there is a way to get iBotta to allow us to add team members outside of Facebook.  Facebook is trying to control the world and doing an excellent job & it is not my friend haha. I’d rather not communicate on here if there is a way to PM.  Good luck!  CC2014

We've talked about improving and expanding the Teammates program for some time, however we're currently more focused on items like the missing credits issue and integrations. I imagine there might be a time next year when we will discuss moving forward with making adjustments to the Teammates program, but for the meantime it will still be going through Facebook to add other existing savers.
