I’ll try to summarize: I’ve been a user since 2020. I gave my daughter my old phone in December. In January my account got locked in which I provided information and proof she resides with me and has my old iPhone. I have never logged into her account from mine, but my old phone is now her primary.
due to financial hardship we both in January signed up for the offers for blue apron and hellofresh. We live together so obviously the shipments had to go to same place. After they unlocked my account, hers became locked. Then suddenly 2 days later both were closed saying something about making purchase from another account? Or same purchase information from referral (important note: I never even referred her or got $ for her she didn’t wait on me to sign up) So because two people on SEPARATE DEVICES AND ACCOUNTS, took advantage of a subscription for food in the same month- they deactivated our accounts?? How is this any different than people in a household redeeming the same offers? How can two people who live together have different purchase information- we live at the same address? We did this because we had an issue with food stamps renewal. We paid money up front for these and then both were screwed out of $100+ EACH in offer money for this leaving us worse off than before we saw these “great deals” from Ibotta. Is this what Ibotta does? Offers high payout things and creates rules that they don’t disclose afterward to get out of paying it and removing long term users from the app permanently?
Wow! It sounds like someone at Ibotta is confused or there were 2 many hands in the pot.

I think they should call you and speak with you. I don't know if Ibotta does that but in extenuating circumstances like this a phone call to you seems like the only way to get this straightened out.
I'm so sorry this is happening. It just seems like someone got confused and just acted.
Try to get a supervisor and request a phone conversation. Like I said I don't know if they make calls but your issues really call for a conversation.
