It looks like ibotta decided to link my grocery loyalty card (Giant Eagle) to my ibotta account without my authorization… I know because it’s popping up after I shop before I can enter my receipts.
this is a mess because they always get it wrong if I don’t manually scan receipts.
The problem is that (I assume because I didn’t link it myself), it doesn’t show it under linked accounts in my settings so I can’t unlink.
anyone else? Even if I engage in another exasperating exchange with CS, will it just keep auto linking?
I'm guessing the credentials were entered at some point but honestly the Care team should be able to manually reset that data to prevent it from connecting.
