Walmart Online Pickup Orders

I have been using iBotta for a while and have noticed that lately... maybe for the past year, that not all of my Walmart purchases are being recognized.

I attribute this to two different things. Walmart no longer gives TC# for online pickup orders and iBotta only lets you use TC to enter receipts. I have checked my order details at Walmart.com they have order numbers issued but not a TC number. And the bar code from online orders will not submit.

Even when I shop at the store and then scan my receipt the app will tell me that they all ready have the order, I am assuming this is because my account is linked but if that is the case why are not all of my orders recognized?

Is anyone else having similar issues and do you have a workaround?

I am! And I don't know what to do. I tried the help function but that says to check the community page. This is so frustrating! I made purchases I would not have but for the savings. Thanks, Ibotta. 😕

If you are using Walmart Pickup and Delivery, you MUST link your account. Once your account is linked, you cannot submit your receipt (if you had one).

If you are missing items, you will need to open a request. The easiest way is to send an email to accountsupport@ibotta.com

You can also open a request in the Ibotta app, but you may be asked a lot of questions by Carlotta before getting to open a request. Attach a copy of your email from Walmart showing the items you picked up. You should also attach pictures of the items missed and the UPCs.

If you include this information, Ibotta Care will verify your purchase and give you credit.

Yes!!! My earnings section is completely screwed up for the last three purchases I made as pickups and they were all several hundred dollars, the receipts are screwy I can't get help and I've emailed the help center with photos and still am not getting anywhere. The mistakes are still there if not even worse. To me The person working on my issue has very little common sense. I would like to be able to see my list after my purchase has been made for each and every receipt, my purchases some are no longer showing as options for cash back and I am also missing old bonus money like crazy! it's become so confusing I can't even deal anymore. Any suggestions on how to get help over the phone?

Unfortunately, Ibotta does not have a phone service.  You could complain to Walmart, but I suspect it would do no good.

I would start with the oldest purchase that has a problem.  DO NOT give them all the receipts at once.  Don't open another ticket until the first one is complete.  They will get them all confused and try to close out all the tickets even though none are complete.  They are there to close tickets, not to resolve them, in my opinion.

If they do close a ticket that hasn't been resolved, you usually have time to re-open them before they close them for good.

I know this is frustrating, but just have patience and take care of one order at a time.

Thank you so much!! Your message and advice really helped me to unscramble my brain, and instead of writing everything on a sheet of paper with way too much information trying to connect the dots and figure out how best to explain it all in my next ticket (of which I have at least 7 scribbled up pages),

I have officially taken a deep breath and will attempt it exactly how you explained. Keeping it simple for them along with my .jpgs is much easier for me to understand and therefore they will be able to do their thing. I like the part about waiting in-between each ticket before adding another. Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to respond! Much appreciated.
