Walmart receipts and linked accounts

Hi,

I ordered online 12/7 and had delivered 12/8. I didn’t get credit for any purchases as of today 12/10. I just submitted a trouble ticket

I had a few items delivered between 7th and 9th. Didn't get credit for either. Submit help tickets also. Good luck.

Let me know if you get something back. I have another trouble ticket in from last weekend 12/1 for an Amazon purchase that I’m still waiting for a response back on. I know they said there was a delay. I just don’t want to lose out on the bonuses

Today’s pick up order went through seamlessly. Submitted the ticket for the 12/09/2021 order, just pending response.

They fixed my order from the 7th. But somehow blended it with my help order from the 9th. Resubmitted the 9th I think they are having trouble with all the tickets. If yours was that long ago do you need to resubmit or is there a time limit they fix them in ?  New to all this so first issues I have had.

I was able to get both of my tickets solved this weekend and got the credit

Awesome. Just got an email saying there is a delay in fixing tickets due to the amount received.

Today so far got credit for one of two orders delivered. Hopefully it's just delayed.

LaraL how long is linked Walmart accounts taking to post pickup purchases? Again I was needing to meet bonus deadline and as everyone knows you can be guaranteed at least one if not more items in your order will not be available. If you allow substitutes you are opening up yourself to even more of a mess with regards to getting what you need to earn rebates and such. So I have learned I need to calculate how many I need then pad by at least two more offers and plan to stop on way home to buy item that Walmart never has (DARIGOLD sour cream as example) to cover if I didn't get an offer I expected (I needed to buy two of something to qualify for rebate and I bought only one). But I still like to see the numbers especially when I am at store and able to buy that one more item.

.   I am relatively new here but I have also learned that there is a long game and it is better to spread out my shopping so I can earn each of the short bonuses that only last 3-4 days and the next starts and purchases from last day of ex Midweek Bonus don't count towards the weekend. So I don't want to buy excessive items if I have met my bonus amount. 

     Do you have any suggestions? Should I unlink my Walmart and submit my receipt personally? Why has the immediate cash back function not working anymore. Two weeks ago I had a pickup, went into store and shopped in-store at Safeways. When I went to scan my Walmart in-store receipt it was already posted and offers in account. Something about when I use payment method saved in my wallet used Ibotta automatically has record of transactions. Should I be concerned about my information being stolen?

Hi @BrendaJones123! When you make a Walmart in-store, Online, or Walmart Pay purchase with the debit or credit card payment method that's saved to your Walmart account, you should receive cash back automatically. If you do not use a payment method saved to your Walmart account, then Ibotta will not receive the transaction information.

Additionally, when a Walmart account is linked to Ibotta, we will only receive information related to which purchases were made at Walmart, this does not include payment information. This purchase data is shared with Ibotta so that we can match qualifying offers and give cash back. This connection is secure and no additional data is shared with Ibotta. Therefore, you should not have to worry about your payment information being stolen while it is linked to Ibotta. 

Lastly, it can take up to 1 hour after you receive or pick up your Walmart purchase before you receive cash back. If your Walmart Online order is split between multiple deliveries, or pick up and delivery, your entire purchase will not begin pending offer earnings until the final items have been received.
